Interaction between Dalits & Non-Dalits held in Kalikot - 25 Apr 2012
RDN Kalikot organised a series of interaction events to highlight the issues and rights of Dalits in March 2012. An interaction event between youth leaders and local government authorities emphasized improvement in service delivery to the Dalit community.

Five-day training on decentralisation and governance ends - 30 Mar 2012
Altogether 25 members of Mahila Shakti Kendras and Shakti Kendras along with project staff and board members of SWEET Nepal, an implementing partner of RDIF, have enhanced their knowledge of decentralsation, governance, politics and power dynamics.

Projects cluster evaluation report available for reading - 27 Mar 2012
Enabling State Programme, which manages RDIF projects, commissioned a team of three national and one international consultants in December 2011 to review and evaluate the achievements and results of RDIF projects in the areas of human rights, democracy and inclusion. The evaluation team submitted the final report in March 2012.

Preparations for Women’s Day - 29 Feb 2012
CAD-Nepal organised a coordination meeting in Tatopani VDC of Jumla district to collaborate with local-level stakeholders on common issues and activities, focusing on International Women’s Day celebration.

Glimpse of RDIF outreach - 30 Jan 2012
Since 2010, a combination of 46 RDIF projects have reached around 190,450 people (48% female) in 68 districts. Out of the total project target groups, 22% are Dalits, 25% Janajatis, 2% Muslims and 2% Newars. These projects have covered over 880 Village Development Committees and Municipalities.
